HEVC video-codec patents for InterDigital against Disney's streaming services. The result: six injunctions in a row: three at the UPC, two of them covering 11 countries, and three in Munich (2026). In August 2026 the campaign was extended to VP9, with fresh UPC claims arguing that Disney's switch to that codec still infringes.
